I stock-still these concluding night and they were pretty good. They had a funnel block sense of taste to them. 1 thing is they accept to be eaten right away when they are however warm. They were not very adept one time they cooled. I would withal fix them over again.
eleven/04/2008
They do taste good right later coming out of the oil. Withal, are terribly greasy and unappetizing if they sit for too long and definitely non good at all for the next day.

Awesome recipe for a sweet molar! Brand the batter thick enough that when yous permit it to drip off the spoon, a skillful amount will stick. Place in the frig for a couple of hours. Equally well, put the cookies in the freezer for the same amount of fourth dimension. When the cookies are done and you lot have them out of the hot oil, place them on a cooling rack to permit for the extra grease to drain off. When cool, sprinkle with powdered carbohydrate or drizzle with chocolate or syrup. .........AND I Accept TO DISAGREE WITH MANY OTHER REVIEWS, ours kept very well and were just as skilful the second 24-hour interval!

I omitted the egg and milk and used a simple batter of just the pancake mix. SOOOO GOOD, thanks
04/21/2011
Simply delicious! I changed a bit this recipe. Instead of mixing egg, milk, etc..I bought the Add together water only Pancake Mix and that was it! You gotta attempt it!! Leave the mix a bit on the thicker side to go that right fluffyness. I take been doing them for my church fundraiser and its been a hit! Don't forget your glass of milk ; )
09/eleven/2008
SOOOO yummy, sounded gross and I never wanted to try them at the boardwalk just they were delicious!!! I used complete pancake mix instead of adding all the other stuff and just made a thick batter no measuring.
05/03/2009
I used butter instead of oil for the pancake batter mixture. Its better to fry these longer on a depression temp than short on a super loftier temp. And they gustatory modality good right after made but not after several hours.
01/xiv/2009
I was surprised how fast these cooked. It really just took me like 30 seconds on each side, but they were all the same soft and warm inside. Succulent!
09/14/2009
We had a deep fried political party horribly bad for you, but great fun. I fabricated the deep fried oreos and they were just as good every bit if I was at the off-white. The only matter I advise is become the batter good and cold in the freezer and so the oreos still ameliorate otherwise it'southward a picayune messy!
02/01/2011
These are fun and AMAZING!!!! Try them
08/28/2010
this batter sucks! this is pooh writing and goo and i tried this batter and it completely failed, epically. the batter was mode also thin and one sideof the oreos was never covered plenty after frying, fifty-fifty though we follwed he recipe correctly. nosotros so tried a different recipe from emeril on the food network involving flour, and they rock our earth!
07/18/2010
I reccomend this to anyone. It's soo skilful! I but used pancake batter though. Also, I didn't want to pull out my deep fryer, (It's new and information technology takes a LOT of of oil to fry something) so instead, I heated oil on high rut in a pan on the stove and fried information technology that fashion. Delicious!!!!
08/01/2010
Love this idea. I took the advice of other readers and just used pancake concoction and milk and made the batter a bit thicker. I added a little more than 1/2 c. milk and one/2 Tbs. Vanilla extract, then refrigerated for two hours. It fried beautifully and tasted fabulous, especially when it was slow cooked for longer on a lower temp. All I had on manus was chocolate chip pancake concoction and my brother and I loved the extra chocolatey taste. Perfect when served warm with ice cream
03/06/2012
I probably shouldn't rate this equally I but used pancake mix, oreos and oil. I only fabricated a think pancake mix, coated the oreos and fried them (in a pan with oil. It just takes a infinitesimal or so for each side. I had these at Mermaid Casino in Las Vegas and were hooked. So bad, yet then good.
06/02/2011
You lot tin can also employ the same batter with near any candy...but brand certain you refrigarate it first. Ex, snickers, Reese'southward
02/19/2011
Yum! If you like fried nutrient and Oreos, then yous will find this a treat. I can't say that I used exact measurements considering I didn't have measuring cups handy and so I just made it until I thought it was the correct consistency. But if you read the recipe, some idea it was too runny, but mine turned out puffy and succulent. Add together more than pancake mix to thicken it out and you lot should be fine.
01/31/2012
I like the oreos simply how they are!!they dont need to be fried!!
11/22/2010
I love deep fried oreos, merely this recipe wasn't that good. When I fried them, the concoction ran off and didn't stay. I doubled the pancake mix merely left the egg and milk and oil the same. Turned out okay.
09/04/2010
the recipe for batter was mode too thin. i actually did 1 2/iii of pancake mix with 1 1/4 of water one egg and wow. i checked the oil by sticking a wooden spoon and if it sizzled it was ready. def very bad for you simply oh so adept!
06/16/2010
these were awesome...wayy amend than u even go at fairs or anything ii people who said they had them at fairs and did not similar them actually tried them and changed their tune...u do need to add a footling more than pancake mix to the mix to thicken it up otherwise u won't have much of a "breading" effectually the oreos...also put powdered sugar on them and they are great!
01/18/2012
This is a heart attack on a plate, folks....but you might as well die happy. I NEVER thought I would Ever make anything similar this, figuring it was just junk. But the deep fryer was out, the oil was make clean, and I had all the ingredients. So....anyhow. I tasted the starting time i, then ate it. Then ate another 1. Gosh. It was skilful. Now, the funny thing is I cook for a living and one of my snootiest clients tried one and is spring and adamant that we will serve these, with bootleg ice cream, every bit dessert at her next dinner party. I love it! The all-time things are the simplest, oldest and nigh Southern-inspired. I bet this came out of GA or AL or one of those wonderful-food places, where everything is truly yummy, total of flavour and not covered with some kind of reduction or deconstruction. Paula Dean rocks!!! Fry that Oreo! Side by side, I'grand going to exercise Golden Oreos, fried, with chocolate water ice cream.
01/09/2012
These were delicious I didn't have a deep fryer and so I but put a little oil in the bottom of a skillet and they still turned out amazing, they tasted just similar at the fair. I would definitely recommend these!

06/24/2012
Yummy! I followed the recipe and was pleased. The cease issue didn't expect like the picture for my batter was not most equally thick. I will thicken the batter next fourth dimension and meet what the results are. Serve with ice foam and it's even meliorate!
11/12/2011
VERY yummy! ALthough I would recommend using more pancake mix to make the batter more thick and so it is easier to coat the oreos. Too we tried mint oreos which was VERY good! savor :)
05/10/2010
These are so easy to make and people honey them. Make the pancake batter in advance, a little on the thick side, and refrigerate it. Decorate the plate with chocolate syrup and serve 2 fried oreos with confectioner's sugar sprinkled on them adjacent to a dip of vanilla water ice cream.
02/05/2012
This was quick, and easy. The batter was a petty runny I thought. I added near 3/4 cup more than of batter and an extra egg to get the batter much thicker. I too used a frying pan ad less oil. This was great. We sprinkled confectioner'due south carbohydrate on them. They came out similar to New Orleans beignets! This was fantastic. Very rich.
01/thirty/2011
If yous make the concoction thicker it is so much better. We added an extra cup of the pancake mix, and they were perfect. Enjoy!
06/27/2012
Just amazing! I had never had these before (yes, I know now what I've been missing), but I had heard how expert they were. Made them for my family unit and every single one was devoured in minutes! It's unbelievable how simple this recipe is and how incredibly delicious they taste! I may never take the demand to get a carnival fried oreo...these were just besides good!!
01/04/2012

12/xx/2010
I had a craving for Deep Fried Oreos, so I decided to see if I could brand them at home. Thanks to this recipe, I DID! They were incrediable, and they totally satisfied my craving! So on behalf of my tastebuds and hormones, Thanks!!!!!
12/14/2010
Cooked these upwards using just add water pancake mix according to the box. Used 375 degree oestrus, discovered information technology is best not to use the fry basket, just driblet them in the vat and they melt very fast take out when golden.
08/31/2013
Delicious! utilize the egg in the pancake batter equally the recipe states, it makes for thicker batter. Also folks, this is meant to be eaten right abroad; Ever had funnel cake? NOT Skillful THE Side by side DAY! & Not the mistake of the recipe!!! You fry it, you eat information technology. That's the style it was meant to be. You lot exercise non save it for later!!!
02/21/2015
I have never eaten a deep fried Oreo® before so I really had no idea what to expect. Later reading some of the reviews, I decided to omit the egg, milk and 2 teaspoons of oil and instead used 2 cups of consummate pancake mix, 1 cup of h2o, 1/two teaspoon of lemon extract, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1/4 loving cup of granulated saccharide. Stirred this together and placed in the refrigerator overnight. I thought I had a parcel of chocolate Oreos® just discovered they were lemon. I placed the package in the freezer. Next morning, I poured 1 quart of canola oil into my deep fryer and heated to 350 degrees. I dipped v frozen Oreos® at a fourth dimension into the chilled batter and fried for 2-three minutes until they were a beautiful golden color. I allowed them to drain inside the fryer basket and then placed on newspaper towels to terminate draining. Every bit a concluding touch, I dusted with powdered saccharide. I did not feel the problem of greasiness as others mentioned. Also, the thick batter adhered to the frozen cookies without any bug. These were very rich, very addictive and a very "special" treat which I plan on making once more using dissimilar flavors of Oreos®. Thank you for sharing your recipe, Olivia C!
08/12/2008
Tried this just considering I wanted to try something odd. I loved it!!
xi/19/2011

05/07/2010
very good and fast to make..does taste a lot like funnel cake, simply very good...my communication, utilise double blimp oreos, regular oreos almost "disappear" in batter
03/11/2010
I made these this morning for my husband to have to piece of work. They were actually good. I did a couple of things unlike. I bought funnel cake mix and used information technology for the batter. I besides freezed the oreos for 2 hrs before I fried them.
ten/10/2011
These are awesome! My husband had them and told me how great they were, then I had to have a shot and brand them at home. They turned out smashing! I used a different batter (recipe: chocolate scrap pancakes) due west/out the chocolate chips, of class. I volition be making these often.
01/xiii/2012
Turned out awesome! Definitely not on the 'low-cal carte' but super delicious! The concoction cooked on thin, so I dipped & fried again…perfection!
01/13/2012
Turned out awesome! Definitely not on the 'lite carte du jour' but super delicious! The concoction cooked on sparse, and so I dipped & fried again…perfection!
ten/12/2013
These were great ! Honestly i just used the complete mix.. LOL ! Yet turned out great tho ! Here'due south a tip.. try different flavor oreos ! The vanilla ones are great ;)
11/25/2014

08/07/2012
Wow! I don't know what else to say...these were melt in your mouth delicious! I used pancake mix that you just mix with water & sprinkled powdered carbohydrate over them when they were done. Heavenly!
xi/28/2012
Equally is the recipe is iii stars because the cookie will autumn apart if you deep fry information technology right abroad. Also the mixture is likewise thin and the temperature is also high. To brand this recipe v stars, freeze the cookies for at least ii hours beforehand, add about 1/2 cup extra pancake mix, and cook at around 350 degrees for most 3-4 min (to get that gooey center)
02/07/2018
Fabricated this recipe in an air fryer at 400 degrees for well-nigh 5 minutes, the double concoction batch turned out nifty! Basically dipped once, fried, and dipped over again for a second fry. Delicious! And not greasy!
03/09/2014
I propose chilling oreos before frying. When we didnt the oreos were falling apart. They came out better later nosotros chilled them
03/08/2011
crawly recipe
01/18/2010
addedd powdered sugar and they are sinful!
04/05/2010
I've heard many proficient things about fried Oreos, that they're a large matter at carnivals in the US. Non something they serve at the ones we have here! I was disappointed with the consequence. Having never tried these, I wasn't sure what to look. The batter was definitely too thin, every bit it barely stuck the cookie. Also, I don't think mine were cooked long enough. Maybe if the concoction was thicker the 2 minutes in the oil would exist skilful, but beingness information technology was sparse these were in the oil for but barely thirty seconds. They sense of taste like a warm version of Oreos dipped in milk without the milk (if that makes sense) with a hint of pancake because of the little bit of batter that stuck to it. Giving this three stars for ease but I really feel these were a waste material of oil and time in general... Just dip your cookies in warm milk, less fat and mess!
02/06/2011
I made fried oreos and chocolate covered fried oreos. They were a hitting.
07/31/2013
Just tried it. Really yummy, just I had to add more than pancake mix to make a thicker concoction. Also, lower temp and longer fry.
08/22/2015
I didn't have a deep frier or milk or eggs... so instead I did half an inch of oil in the bottom of a pan over low rut, and I used half cup Krusteez pancake mix with one/3 cup water. They turned out perfect.
02/01/2011
YUMMMMMMMYYYY and easy!
07/30/2012
Astonishing, of course. We but substituted the batter mix in this recipe with a pancake batter recipe on the side of a Bisquik box. We sprinkled them with confectioners' sugar at the end. Can't beat these.
08/27/2014
I thought information technology was delightful merely instead of the original Oreos my sister, my kids & I made Deep Fried Cookie Dough Oreos
03/27/2010
These were very tasty, but the batter is very sparse every bit written. I had to add actress pancake mix to thicken information technology. My son loved them.
04/28/2011
These treats are the best! I serve them whenever I have family or friends over and I always get great feedback on them! They're great for kids and adults. All the same, as stated before, once cold, they're not very adept. And so enjoy them while they are hot!
05/12/2010
OH MY GOSH. My oral fissure was literally watering just at the succulent odor of these fun treats :]
06/eleven/2012
they are so skillful
06/16/2013
Uh-MAZING!!!
03/25/2009
i loved information technology! but everyone else in the house(who loves oreos) didn't care too much for it.
01/26/2011
Epic. It's tough to go the consistency of the batter just right, but when you become it you know!
01/15/2012
And so AMAZING and soooo easy!! Yumm
08/12/2008
We all loved this...it was like being at the State Fair.
09/14/2017
Substantially a doughnut (ok, fritter) stuffed with a cookie. Too much. Either a cookie OR a fritter by itself would exist ameliorate. Waste of time, money, and ingredients.
09/14/2013
Great recipe!
06/19/2012
i had these at a fair
03/14/2011

10/01/2011
And so Skilful! what an crawly fun treat! Super easy to make and consume! I just used the mix where yous simply add water, came out nifty!
10/04/2009
This recipe was skilful, simply I found the batter to not stick to the cookie that great. But overall still tasted nifty!
07/15/2009
As other had said simply use pancake batter alone and make it thick. Tip: Fry them at a lower tempature also double stuff works best. YUMMY YUMMY
07/06/2011
yum! I used my pancake batter as I would normally do, it turned out peachy!
08/27/2011
My daughter loved these, I notwithstanding am not a fan of fried food, but she had fun making them and sharing them. Information technology was a hit.
01/24/2012
Who Doesnt like a Good Fried Oreo.. Yumm Yumm
04/08/2010
This is a wonderful recipe!! Whoever has whatsoever left over after cooking a batch is not a true chocolate lover! Thank you Olivia for sharing, we love these at our house, and judge WHAT??? I didn't change a matter as it was perfect!!!!!!
09/04/2010
Wounderful recipie, but I just added water to the pancake batter, and I used olive oil instead of veggie oil, just for the sake of calories!!
07/08/2009
There is no reason to have oil in the batter and it needs exist a lot thicker than the recipie calls for, only other than that, so amazingly simple and good. Nosotros also just fried the batter and that was expert. The only thing I would add together to the batter (also making it thicker) is vanilla extract to make it sweeter.
eleven/xv/2012
It was and then uncomplicated. Instead, we used pancake batter (with water) and skipped milk eggs and whatnot. The showtime batch stuck to the bottom of the deep fryer basket. After that nosotros just put the handbasket downwards and kinda plopped them in, they didn't stick, they floated, and when time to take them out we either used a fork or just lifted the basket out. Sooo proficient. We used gilt oreo'due south, also. Definitely something to try.
06/x/2012
Really yummy! Worked bang-up. This made me very popular with the neighbors and my kids!!
06/10/2008
Yummy! My sister loves these! :)
03/29/2010
A favorite at our hometown'southward annual Trail Days Festival each May. Was my breakfast the twenty-four hour period of my wedding, really....I omitted the egg, milk and vegetable oil and opted for Hungry Jack pancake mix with water. Always....e'er top with powder sugar. Great in the winter when Oreo has their Pepermint Oreos! Can use the same method to deep fry Twinkies, as well- but don't forget a stick when doing those!
06/04/2013
My kids and husband loved this recipe! No changes or additions made.
08/21/2014
These were astonishing! My friend idea they tasted just like the ones at the off-white except these were more crispy which we really enjoyed.
02/13/2011
Succulent!! I followed the directions on the pancake mix box and made the concoction extra thick and left it in the fridge for a couple of hours. I used two forks to whip it effectually in the batter and get it covered nicely. Will never pay for these at a carnival again!!
03/02/2017
Amazing!
08/02/2016
These are pretty crawly I tried vegatable oil first time round used canola oil the second time and seemed to work better. I also advise playing around and getting the seasonal Oreos besides I tried the smores Oreos and there were mouth watering programme on trying the cinnamon bun Oreos next
02/19/2015
I made these for a schoolhouse event and they were Delicious! It was a perfect rest of the crispy batter and the sweet Oreo inside! Thanks for a corking recipe!
09/22/2017
These were really elementary to make and everybody liked them. Sprinkled with powdered saccharide while notwithstanding warm. I thought the concoction was on the thin side and so I added more pancake mix half mode through but turns out they were simply equally good with the batter I thought was as well thin. They get night pretty quickly, and so don't take your eyes off of them!
05/15/2020
it was astonishing and it helps i made some for my family for dessert and they loved it
02/10/2013
A terrific recipe, as is.
09/27/2019
This was groovy!! It was easy plenty for my 12 yr one-time daughter to make and at present she does this all the time.. we buy different flavors of Oreos and they are amazing .. My hubby and girl brought these from a mini dessert bar and now they make their own. I never tried a fried Oreo until at present and the vanillas ones are my favorite .. hubby red velvet and my girl (chocolate). O
01/04/2020
Utilize double blimp oreos!
06/23/2010
Majorly easy little indulgence!
05/21/2019
Came out really bad. Should utilize less milk. The 1 loving cup of pancake mix was not plenty in 1 loving cup of milk. Too runny. And when I put them in the 375 degree estrus it was way also hot. Simply kept in for a few seconds and it burnt. Lower temp and use less mix. They didn't taste like Carnival Deep Fried Oreos anyway.
12/29/2015
made this according to the directions, concoction was like soup, cookies came out similar no concoction was applied at all..
